Где отдохнуть в в Upstate New York?

Посоветуйте место для отдыха на два-три дня в Upstate New York (только не Ниагару).  Хочется красивую природу, озера, свежий воздух, возможно горы. Если есть какие-то интересные культурные достопримечательности, пожалуйста, поделитесь.

+1 to the Finger Lakes (just came back from there a week ago): beautiful lakes, wineries, cideries, breweries, distilleries (I'm into booze :)), cheese making dairy farms (check out the Finger Lakes cheese trail), quaint little towns with cute shops and cafes, gorges and waterfalls (Watkins Glen, Taughannock Falls and more) with hiking opportunities. Corning is nearby with its awesome glass museum (you can spend a whole day there).
For a more mountainous terrain, go to the Adirondacks.

thanks a lot for the detailed reply! We have already visited Finger lakes and really liked it. Could you please tell me more about the cheese trail? Also, last time we were there, we did not go to a glass museum. Is it worth it?

Музей стекла стоит целого дня. Мне очень интересна была историческая часть (стекло от древнего Египта до наших дней), но есть и большой раздел про современное употребление стекла в самых разных сферах, плюс куча всяких демонстраций. Да и центр Корнинга (на противоположном берегу речки от музея) тоже приятное место.

Есть еще город Ельмайра--это какие-то марко-твеновские места.
