Darling I work in this area for past nine years and leave for three. What they are offering is a shit hole in a wall. RE market is very hot here and to get a decent place cost tons of money. And again I am speaking from my own experience. It took me nearly 7 months to find an apartment I leave in now. And landlords are not usually looking to rent on short term so that will add to price, not counting furniture, that will add even more.
