Если кто-то живет в Цинциннати и вам интересен культур-мультур, то вот небольшой анонс (Написано от лица моего друга, художника и музыканта из Цинциннати по имени Jay Bolotin). Его работы ооочень специфичны, так что это для любителей авангарда, так сказать):
I am pleased to be joining some wonderful artists, Deborah Brod, Denise Burge, Stewart Goldman, Peter Haberkorn, Jill Rowinski, Rebecca Seeman, Joey Versoza, and Howard Wells, in a group show curated by Stewart Goldman opening at the Weston Gallery of the Aronoff Center for the Arts, 650 Walnut Street, Cincinnati, OH. on Friday, June 14th at 6:00 pm.
The opening is free and open to the public. I hope you might be able to come.
My piece is a short (22 minute) motion picture titled "Kharmen" with sources in Bizet's "Carmen" and the short stories of Daniil Kharms
of St. Petersburg, Russia ( 1905 - 1942) and characters from "The (formerly) Lost Manuscript of Benjamin Weill called The Book of Only Enoch, as
completed and drawn by Jay Bolotin"
Music by Bizet, Jay Bolotin, and anomalous sources.
With musical contributions from Mezzo Soprano, Suzanne Lommler,
Bass Baritone, Monte Jaffe, violinist, Tatiana Berman, pianist Bernard McDonald
and violin, viola and cello by Paul Patterson and Sylvia Mitchell
