Myrtle beach -- early september (when school starts) is the best time. We stayed here: https://www.myrtlebeachresort.com/resortMap.php No breakfast, but kitchen in every room, we preferred to cook. I *think* you can walk to some food stores, definitely to restaurants and beach stores. But there are pleanty of other resorts in the area, maybe some have breakfast included
