Enlarge your pi... mileage

Сейчас ехал с заправки, оставив там $70, и краем уха услышал разговор по радио, что можно что-то добавлять то ли в масло, то ли ещё куда какую-то жидкость, чтобы увеличить <член> миляж.
Кто-нибудь знает куда и что надо <вставить> долить, чтобы моих $70 хватило на пару дней больше?

I am all for synthetic oil on most cars (there are some engines that do not take to it, e.g. Isuzus).

As far as Slick 50 and such, there were quite a few reports both for and against, so it is a controversial subject.

Only engines I know that don't take synthetic well are Mazda rotaries. Never heard of any Isuzu specific issues.

Slick 50 and rest of snake oil stuff - all the serious studies I found (i.e. Univ. of Utah:

In defense of Slick 50, tests done on a Chevy 6 cylinder engine by the University of Utah Engineering Experiment Station found that after treatment with the PTFE additive the test engine's friction was reduced by 13.1 percent, the output horsepower increased from 5.3 percent to 8.1 percent, and fuel economy improved as well. Unfortunately, the same tests concluded that "There was a pressure drop across the oil filter resulting from possible clogging of small passageways." Oil analysis showed that iron contamination doubled after the treatment, indicating that engine wear increased (Rau).

Isuzu SUV's have a problem of consuming synthetic oil, so I had to switch them back to mineral.

The synthetic oil in question was BMW brand, do not know who is the actual manufacturer.
